At the October 2008 Special Event, Apple not only announced their new Unibody MacBook, but they also decided to keep the classic White MacBook. The specs of the White MacBook have stayed relatively the same, but the starting price got lowered to $999. In the last three days, the White MacBook got some hardware improvements that bring it’s specs closer to the Unibody MacBook.

At the same $999 you now get:

• The New Generation 2.0 GHz Core 2 Duo Processor
•  1,066 MHz Frontside Bus
• 2GB of 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM (Up From 1GB)
• Integrated NVIDIA GeForce 9400M Graphics
