A couple of weeks ago the power went out and when the power came back on, my $1500, 9-speaker sound system would not turn on anymore :’( I am the type of person who can not live without music, and right now I am using my iPhone’s mono-speaker to satisfy my needs… I can say that it is just not working!

I remembered a keynote that I watched when Steve Jobs announced the iPod Hi-Fi. This particular sound dock received a lot or praise from reviewers, but did not seem to take off :S I went to the Apple Store today, and noticed that it was not there anymore!

Will Apple announce a new iteration of the speaker system, or will I have to live without that little piece of Apple History?
