
As with the consumer level MacBook, the professional MacBook Pro was also blessed with a hardware update (mostly speed oriented). The new MacBook Pro’s come standard with Intel’s new Core 2 Duo Chipset. These processors have been rumored to be 50% faster & consume much less energy than it’s predecessor. Also included with the computer is the oh so loved multi-touch trackpad that was introduced on the MacBook Air. Keep in mind that, all MacBook Pro’s come standard with LED backlit displays or have it as a $100 upgrade.
There are some things that could have been better on this minor refresh, like the inclusion of a bigger trackpad (like the one on the MacBook Air) and having the Apple Remote included with the computer like previous models.
