Just last week, Apple held it’s annual MacWorld Convention. It is customary for Steve Jobs to have a Keynote Speech where he tells us about how Apple Inc. is doing, and how they wish to improve. This year’s MacWorld was no disappointment; Steve released a plethora of products for the introduction of 2008.
During the Keynote, Steve could not help but remind his listeners that Apple was only in it’s 2nd week of fiscal year, and that we can expect much more from them in the coming months. This was very surprising to us seeing as a very trusted source had many bloggers thinking that nothing big was to be expected at MacWorld this year, especially following the iPhone release and other major upgrades including the Aluminum iMac and the new and improved iPod Line-Up. This was all discarded when just a few days before the convention, Apple released two new “Quad-Core” products to their line-up: Mac Pro & Xserve. Blogs started to speculate about the time constraints of the Keynote and thought that there would be no time to reveal the two products with everything that was going to be announced. And for the most-part, they were right! Steve ended-up exceeding his 1 Hour slot as usual, but with good intentions… and I do not think anyone was disappointed with the outcome.
