Working on a new look for CrunchyMunchkin. Feel free to take a look around!

There are many people out there that have a hard time appreciating the iPhone 2.0 Software, because most of the features do not apply to them. Who cares if the iPhone supports Push Email, Calendar and Contacts if you do not have Microsoft Exchange? This is where Mobile-Me steps in.

During the keynote, Phil Schiller described Mobile-Me as “exchange for the rest of us.” This means that you do not have to use Microsoft Exchange or Active-Sync to keep your devices in sync over the air. The coolest thing about Mobile-Me is the fact that it works with all of your favorite applications on a Mac(Mail, iCal & Address Book) or PC (Outlook).

Mobile-Me will be replacing .Mac, and will cost the same exact price as before - $99/year for a Single-User & $149/year for a Family-Pack. I do believe this is a perfect companion to your iPhone if you need to keep everything in sync, and I will be trying it out when it becomes available in July.

Until I can spend some time using Mobile-Me, it will be impossible for me to do a proper review. I do hope that I have answered any immediate questions you might have about Mobile-Me. If you have any other questions or comments, please email them to jonathan[at]crunchymunchkin[dot]com.
