With the latest iWork ‘09 out and about, customers have noticed that Apple has done something differently. As long as you have the Installation Disk, you no longer need to type in that ridiculously long serial number that came in the box. Apple says “Install iWork ‘09 from the enclosed disk and you’re ready to go.”
If you downloaded a trial version from the Apple Website, you will still need to get a Serial Number to continue using the suite after 30 days. Some blogs are speculating that this might be Apple’s attempt to remove DRM from more than just iTunes, while others are saying that it is just an invitation for piracy.

Right before the christmas holidays, my MacBook decided to give-up on me. Everything was kosher until I updated it to Mac OS X 10.5.6, when at first my Spotlight Calculator stopped working. I thought that maybe it was something to do with a setting I changed, so I decided to restart my computer. Wrong choice… When I returned to my login screen both my keyboard and trackpad stopped working, so it is literally impossible for me to log into my computer. Luckily I have my old PowerBook to keep me company until I can get everything fixed.

Before the holidays, I noticed that I did not post for almost an entire quarter. This year, all of that will change. I had planned on having started before the new year, but since my MacBook decided to go into a coma, I had to wait until now. It turns out that it was a good thing that happened. When I finally got my computer back from Apple, I decided to completely redesign CrunchyMunchkin from the ground-up.
This redesign had to be something that changed the way I felt about CrunchyMunchkin, the way I would approach the site, and the Apple Community. Yes, I did want it to be as visually appealing as possible, but I also wanted it to stay clean and consistent. Most importantly, I wanted to stick to the basics, and focus solely on what’s important – the content… nothing more, nothing less. Therefore I put as much as I know about web design (which is not much) and coded what you see here. I hope you like what I have come up with. There is only room for bigger and better things in the future. I would love to see what you think in the comments…
