Many people have qustioned whether or not they should purchase this version of the iPhone, because the original will get most of the important features like the AppStore, the Improved Email Application, the Scientific Calculator, Push Everything and of course all of the Enterprise Applications you would ever need… These things and more will be included in a free software update, and this my friends is where the problem lies… Why would any of us buy a new iPhone if the one we already have will get all of the features we were hoping for? What is even so special about 3G, and why will it cost me an extra $10/month? Is the iPhone even my only option right now?
So tomorrow’s the CrunchTalk you have been waiting for. Should You Buy The iPhone 3G? In this broadcast we will cover all of the pros and cons, and even look at some of the alternatives.

If you were planning to get your application seen by millions, the best day would be on the launch of the AppStore… Right?? In order for this to happen, you must submit everything to Apple by July 7th @ 12pm. Know that this does not mean that your application will be automatically added to the AppStore, but it does mean that it will be considered for approval for the launch day. Also know that copies of applications will not be allowed! Gizmodo gave a great example: There is already Super Monkey Ball, so there can’t be Super Orangutan Ball. I really can’t wait to see your applications, so hurry-up and get them out there!
What is cooler than personalized ringtones? VIDEOSTONE!!! Imagine being able to set one of your Music Videos as your RingTone… If your iPhone has been jailbroken, you can download this little Application from the InstallerApp. I hope someone comes out with this for the AppStore, because I think it would be a really popular addition to the iPhone.
Gizmodo has reported that they had trouble to get the application to work, while the folks at ModMyiPhone were able to get some results with the unofficial application.
On the launch day of the Mobile App-Store, you will be able to download a free application designed by Apple to control iTunes. There are no details as to what you will see on the iPhone – whether it is a list of your music or just the basic forward, backward and play/pause buttons. I would personally like to see my entire music library on the iPhone, and play it through my speakers at home. There is no doubt in my mind that the iPhone is powerful enough to accomplish this, but it is up to the developer to decide how to implement this.
