There has been a lot of speculation going around about whether or not people should purchase the new iPhone? In this broadcast we will cover all of the pros and cons, and even look at some of the alternatives. So mark the date in your calendars, and be prepared to join us on Saturday @ 10…

After almost three weeks of coding, I am finally done with my very own Wordpress Theme entitled: BlueSnack. Sorry folks, this one is not available for download! As usual, I have converted all of the most popular posts for your enjoyment. Know that I will be making minor changes to the design as I use it; as there is no better way to test something except for “in the field”. I would like to thank all of you who support CrunchyMunchkin, and everything that goes along with it. If it were not for you, I would not love what I do – so thank you…

I was listening to iPhone Alley’s live audio feed of WWDC.08, and became ecstatic when Steve announced the 3G iPhone with GPS. Steve explained that there were three main barriers blocking them from achieving their goal of selling 10,000,000 iPhones in the first year – Price, Availability & Speed.

There are many people out there that have a hard time appreciating the iPhone 2.0 Software, because most of the features do not apply to them. Who cares if the iPhone supports Push Email, Calendar and Contacts if you do not have Microsoft Exchange? This is where Mobile-Me steps in.
During the keynote, Phil Schiller described Mobile-Me as “exchange for the rest of us.” This means that you do not have to use Microsoft Exchange or Active-Sync to keep your devices in sync over the air. The coolest thing about Mobile-Me is the fact that it works with all of your favorite applications on a Mac(Mail, iCal & Address Book) or PC (Outlook).
Mobile-Me will be replacing .Mac, and will cost the same exact price as before - $99/year for a Single-User & $149/year for a Family-Pack. I do believe this is a perfect companion to your iPhone if you need to keep everything in sync, and I will be trying it out when it becomes available in July.

During today’s more-or-less predictable keynote, Steve and Scott Forestall gave us the final preview of the iPhone 2.0 Software. Some of the most important features were updated, giving consumers even more reason to go out and purchase the iPhone 3G. The update will include the highly coveted AppStore, as well as many minor updates such as the new Scientific Calculator, Mass-Editing Mode in the Mail App, Contact Search in the Phone App, and many more. The best thing about it is… it’s free!!!!!! iPod Touch users will have to pay $9.95 to get the update though… Should’a got the iPhone!
